Needing a caffeine fix? While Redolencia Coffee certainly is all about our beloved java, the greater concerns of the good people there are quality of product, a comfortable atmosphere and culture through music, art and antique ambiance.

There is real value in the pleasure of spending a little idle time sitting near a north window in a little local joint, enjoying a hot drink and a pastry. Greater value, still, if there's conversation.

I ordered a beautiful cardamom sweet roll and a "Mayan Cocoa," a hot chocolate with a bit of inspiration from south of the border (I'm a sucker for both chipotle and chocolate). And I enjoyed said cozy idle time creating this image atop a lavender tablecloth at the front of the cafe.
